Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms, while generally clean, could use some basic touch-ups to freshen up the dated feel. I appreciated the ability to make local calls from the room and have the convenience of watching TV and dining in. The service, though unfriendly initially, turned around positively with a fantastic team that was warm, helpful, engaging, and sincerely interested in meeting my requests. The location was excellent, being near the Novena MRT station on Newton Road in Singapore, which made it easy to explore the city using public transportation or calling for taxis. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with quick refills of food contrasting with some disappointing and delayed meals. Despite these mixed experiences, the safe area and discreet setting added a level of comfort to the stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were incredibly spacious and very comfortable for less than $100/night, but they were very dirty and VERY noisy. Although my room wasn't ready and I had to wait for more than one hour, once settled, they were spacious, clean, and the services provided were excellent.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a bit noisy and cramped for our group size, but the location was convenient with easy access to transportation and shopping. The service ranged from unfriendly to helpful, depending on who we interacted with. The dining experience left much to be desired, especially considering the limited breakfast options. Overall, it was an average experience with some drawbacks.
The hotel is conveniently located near Novena MRT station, just a short walk away, and also close to various attractions like Orchard Road. The rooms had an uncomfortable smell and the TV was small and unclear; however, the suites were more spacious and office-like. The service was friendly and helpful overall, but there were instances of lack of attention to reservation details. The dining options were varied but not exceptional. The location is convenient with easy access to transportation and nearby popular areas. The facilities were adequate but could use some improvement.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant despite a few issues. The location was really convenient for exploring the area, but being near Newton Circus was a mixed experience. The service was friendly and helpful, although there were some noisy disruptions during festivals. The dining options were decent, but the breakfast had its limitations with cold food. The rooms were fine, but the noisy air conditioning was a downside.
The hotel seemed to have a misleading appearance as the rooms were very dirty and the air conditioning was malfunctioning throughout our 4-night stay. Despite the handy mini kitchenette, the cleanliness was a major concern.
I've stayed at this hotel 3-4 times, and it offers a modern interior with air conditioning. The rooms have been fully refurbished to meet the standard I expect from a hotel, with the added convenience of having a small kitchenette. The service staff might appear disinterested at times, but during my 5-day stay from 18-22 October, they were very cordial and friendly, even offering a complimentary drink at their coffee house. The location is decent, with a bus stop right outside and 2 MTR stations a short 5-10 minute walk away. Although the dining experience was subpar with cold coffee and mostly Asian self-service options, the hotel is near popular areas like the revenue office and a shopping center with a tasty chicken rice restaurant.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The room was spacious and neat, though I could hear the TV from the next room. The breakfast wasn't worth the price, so I might consider having breakfast elsewhere if I stayed again.
The hotel is conveniently located near Newton Circus with access to the underground railway system. The rooms are comfortable, although a bit small for two adults. The service was exceptional but had a slight lapse in room cleaning. Dining options were decent but somewhat crowded with limited dinner choices.
